Delivery
We guarantee next working day delivery providing your order is made and confirmed before 12.00 hours. Orders taken after this time will be delivered within 2 working days, The exception is for goods which are specifically indicated as taking longer. Alternatively, you may suggest a preferred date in the near future to suit you.
The order will be delivered to your preferred address or an alternative address you may have specified. Deliveries are only made between Monday and Friday. Deliveries are not made on public holidays. Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands and the Scilly Isles will be delivered within 2 to 5 working days of your order being made and confirmed. This includes postcodes AB4, 5, 31, 33, 35-38, 44, 454, 51-56, FK18-21, G84, IV1-28, 30-36, 40, 52-54, 63, KA27, 28, KW1-14, PA20-40, PH19-22, 25, 26, PH30-41, 49, 50, TR21-25. orders for the following postcodes (IV1-20, IV30-32, IV36, AB38, PH19-26) can be delivered next working day, but this is not guaranteed. The standard charge for delivery is £5.95. Delivery charge to The Scottish Highlands, Scilly Isles. IOW, IOM, and Northern Ireland is £25. Delivery charge to the Scottish Island is £45. In the event of Purple Wine’s agents not being able to get a signature for delivery to the specified address, the goods will be returned to the depot and held there overnight unless you have given us specific instructions for us to leave the goods elsewhere (such as with a neighbour, or in the garden shed).
Our agents will leave a card to advise you that they have attempted delivery. They will attempt delivery again on the next working day. If delivery is not possible, the goods will be returned to the depot and stored for two working days. If you have not arranged for collection or re-delivery before this time, the goods will be returned to Purple Wine. You may contact Purple Wine to arrange for re- delivery. Purple Wine reserve the right to charge an additional standard delivery fee in this instance. At all times, you will be able to track your delivery through our web site or by calling us.
In the case of non-delivery, please contact us within one week of the scheduled delivery date. If the goods cannot be found and we have no signature for delivery we will offer you a full refund or like-for-like replacement.
Prices
All our prices are inclusive of VAT. A separate charge for delivery is made and highlighted in our literature and at the point of purchase.
Promotional offers and prices are as stated, with no further discounts after the promotion has expired.
Returns
If a whole case of wine is bad, i.e. “corked” or if it is damaged in any way you should contact our call center to register your complaint or e-mail us via our web site at www.purplewine.co.uk. Purple Wine will arrange collection of the case at our expense. If the wine is indeed bad or ‘corked’ we will offer you a replacement or full refund. Purple Wine reserve the right to refuse a refund if in the opinion of Purple Wine the wine is of an acceptable standard. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If any single bottle of wine in a case is bad due to the wine being ‘corked’ or if it is damaged in any way we’ll refund you in full or issue you with a credit for you to redeem on future purchases.
